Eat Easy

It’s been 10 days since I posted anything here, and I know… I’m sorry! Life got a little busy, and I was occupied with other duties, but I’m finally back with a new vibe — and this one is joyful, grateful, and hopeful. 💛

For the past few days, I’ve actually been feeling a little better about my job, and honestly, that feels refreshing. Sometimes, even a small change in how you feel about your everyday life can make a big difference.

And there’s another reason I’ve been feeling especially blessed lately — I’ve started getting contacted by brands for shoots! ✨

It’s such a lovely feeling when opportunities come your way, especially when you’ve been putting yourself out there and patiently waiting for something to happen. I’m genuinely grateful for every opportunity, every message, and everyone who believes in my work.

But there is one thing I still don’t understand… 😂

Why do brands disappear after sending an update?

Okay, seriously, does anyone else experience this?

I’ll receive a message from a brand, we’ll discuss things, and then I’ll send an update or follow-up… and suddenly, silence! 😅

And then my brain immediately starts working:

“Is everything okay?”
“Did I say something wrong?”
“Are they still interested?”
“Why haven’t they replied?”

I know I probably shouldn’t overthink it, but I can’t help it sometimes. Waiting for a reply can make you nervous, especially when you’re genuinely excited about an opportunity.

Maybe they’re busy. Maybe they’re discussing things internally. Maybe they just haven’t had the time to reply yet.

But tell me — am I the only one who overthinks these things? 😂

Anyway, I’m trying to remind myself to be patient and trust that whatever is meant for me will find its way to me. For now, I’m choosing to focus on the good things happening around me and enjoy this new, happier energy.
